Carbon dioxide from the biogas resulted in vinasse fermentation should be treated. One of methods that could reduce carbon was adsorption process. A chemical and physical process modify characteristic obtain activated as an adsorbent. Chemical activation using H2SO4 ranged 5% to 30%, pyrolysis at 400oC for 3 hours. The done by inserting 98.68% synthetic CO2 range 0.002 0.0058 L/min bottom column with 5 cm diameter 30 height. 25% achieved best result. Characteristics were analyzed proximate BET analysis, where ash content 3.93%, fixed 80.015, surface area 5992.65 m2/gr a total pore volume 39.4620 cc/gr, radius average 2.6072 Å. value adsorbed 99.939% gas rate 0.0022 L/min.
